The World Congress of Optometry brings together the global optometric community (private sector, public sector, researchers, educators and others), for development of a comprehensive eye health strategy to address the growing burden of vision impairment globally.
The structure of the Congress will enable attendees to come together for sessions of common interest during the duration of the event. The program will aid in supporting local Continuing Professional Development (CPD) schemes for Optometrists such as CET (England) and COPE (USA).
The Congress Committee warmly invite you to participate in the Congress program by submitting abstracts for oral and poster presentations for this event.
Optometrists, Ophthalmologist, Vision Scientists, Educators, Public health experts, Researchers and Students can present their work on current clinical and basic science advances, research and education.
The Congress will receive submissions for:
• Case Studies
• Clinical findings
• Public health
All presenters will be required to register for the congress no later than June 30, 2017
The deadline for submission for scientific and educational abstracts is Friday, 17 February 2017.
