Register now for 2017 IACLE Congress and apply for bursary
IACLE members still have time to register for the 2017 IACLE Congress on Contact Lens Education taking place at the L V Prasad Eye Institute in Hyderabad, India from 9-10 September 2017.
Participation for members attending will be facilitated by IACLE, thanks to the generous support of our Industry Partners Alcon, CooperVision and Johnson & Johnson Vision Care Companies.
Meeting registration will be free to IACLE members and to help cover the cost of attending, IACLE members are eligible to apply for bursaries up to a maximum value of US$500 (up to $250 for members in India), subject to terms and conditions.
A limited number of bursaries to attend the IACLE Congress are still available. Members therefore have until 15 April to apply. Final delegate selections will be made by 30 April 2017. Please note that all members applying for bursaries must register to attend the IACLE Congress.

The theme for the Congress is ‘Translating knowledge into increasing contact lens penetration’. The program will harness expertise from key opinion leaders and include the following topics:
- Addressing CL dropouts
- The importance of a CL work-up protocol, lens care and follow-up
- IACLE resources and assessment of students
- Contact lenses in the management of presbyopia
The Congress is timed to precede the 2nd World Congress of Optometry, also in Hyderabad (11-13 September), where IACLE will be providing the contact lens stream.
